ALMUTEM is the planet that, in a chart, prevails over all the others — the one that governs it. We took its name because it is also what this place wants to be: somewhere the sky of a birth is given the care it deserves.
Why it exists.
ALMUTEM is the work of one person, made without hurry, around a simple conviction: the sky of a birth deserves to be read with rigour and with respect for its sources. A whole chart, read slowly — planets, houses, aspects, dignities, lots and the rhythms of time, all seen as one. It promises no future: it describes what the chart shows.
How it is made.
Everything here begins in the calculation. Charts are cast by a purpose-built engine, from reference astronomical ephemerides — the same figure of the sky the ancients read, now with the precision of today.
The reading comes after, and it comes from the sources: dignities, aspects, houses and the rhythms of time, drawing on the Hellenistic and Perso-Arabic schools. Nothing is generated at random. A chart describes a nature; it does not foretell a fate.
