Jupiter in Leo
Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. In Leo, it expresses itself with warmth, pride and a longing to shine.
In Leo — fixed fire, sign of the Sun — Jupiter is a guest at the king's court. Peregrine, he does not reign here, but he sits beside the throne and partakes of its splendour: his liberality gains a regal bearing, and what he gives, he gives with grandeur. It inclines to magnanimity, to the broad gesture that honours the one who receives it, to a confident and noble faith that shows itself in the light of day. It gives a prince's generosity, protection to those who depend on him, a justice that rewards merit and raises the worthy. Religion here is solemn, of temple and of pomp; wisdom, the counsellor of kings. The Sun lends him brilliance and the fixed fire, constancy in his favour. But the court tempts the benefic to extravagance: largesse may turn to ostentation, generosity may ask for applause, and the just judgement may bend to the vanity of being seen as just, more than of being so.
