ALMUTEMAscendant Conjunction Jupiter
Ascendant represents your body, your make-up and how you present yourself and begin things; Jupiter, the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning.
Jupiter upon the Ascendant gives a broad, genial, and well-liked presence: a generous, optimistic, and confident bearing, with good fortune at life’s outset and a body that tends to robustness (and to corpulence). It inspires liking and respect. The care is excess, and a confidence that reaches beyond what it can sustain.
Jupiter rising over the horizon is among the most favourable positions in the whole chart, because the greater benefic is joined to the native’s body and life. A planet of the day, in a day chart it is in its own sect and the favour is steadier. In Sagittarius, Pisces or Cancer, where it is at home or exalted, the protection is broad; in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn it exists, but with more reservations. It shows in someone welcomed with open arms wherever they arrive, who tends to come through difficult situations well.
