Ascendant Square Jupiter

Ascendant represents your body, your make-up and how you present yourself and begin things; Jupiter, the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning.

Jupiter square the Ascendant swells the expression of self: overconfidence, exaggeration, and a tendency to promise or take on more than one can bear, with some waste. Well tempered, it still gives the generosity and faith that help one grow.

The square places Jupiter near the Midheaven or the Imum Coeli. Near the Midheaven, ambitions are large and reputation tends to grow, though at times more is promised than done; near the Imum Coeli, the home is spacious and welcoming, sometimes at the cost of excess. Tradition sees in the square of a benefic a blessing that asks for measure. The care is with exaggeration, financial above all. With prudence it is one of the easiest tensions to turn into growth.
