Ascendant Trine Mars

Ascendant represents your body, your make-up and how you present yourself and begin things; Mars, your energy, your desire and the courage to act.

Mars trine the Ascendant lets courage and vigour flow in the native: serene initiative, steady energy, and the capacity to act without needing to fight to prove oneself. An active and confident presence.

The trine places Mars in the Fifth or the Ninth House. In the Fifth, energy goes into sport, healthy competition and physical pleasure; in the Ninth, into travel, the defence of convictions and a spirit of adventure. Courage flows without rancour and the person is decisive without being aggressive. Mars in Capricorn, where it is exalted, gives this position a sense of duty; in Aries or Scorpio, more drive. It shows in someone who faces a problem head on and then moves on without resentment.
