Ascendant Trine Saturn

Ascendant represents your body, your make-up and how you present yourself and begin things; Saturn, your responsible side, your limits and what you build through effort.

Saturn trine the Ascendant settles a sober dignity upon the native: reliable seriousness, self-command, and a presence that inspires trust and ages well. Discipline flows without rigidity.

The trine places Saturn in the Fifth or the Ninth House. In the Ninth, discipline turns to deep study, philosophy and faith lived seriously; in the Fifth, to measured pleasures and a responsible relationship with children. The seriousness does not weigh: it gives structure without taking away joy. Saturn in Libra, where it is exalted, adds a sense of justice; in Capricorn or Aquarius, method. It shows in someone who gives good advice because they think before giving it.
