Ascendant Trine Sun

Ascendant represents your body, your make-up and how you present yourself and begin things; Sun, who you truly are deep down, your willpower and what gives you energy.

The Sun trine the Ascendant pours a natural authority upon the native: vitality, nobility of bearing, and a serene confidence that draws recognition without forcing it. Identity expresses itself with ease and warmth.

The trine normally places the Sun in the Fifth or the Ninth House. The Ninth is the Sun’s joy, where it feels at home, and there authority comes joined to learning, long journeys and faith. In the Fifth it is tied to pleasure, children and creation. Either way the solar character flows into the person without conflict: there is confidence without arrogance. If the Sun is in Leo or Aries the effect gains body; in Libra the dignity is more social than personal, and shows best in company.
