ALMUTEMMidheaven Conjunction Moon
Midheaven represents your vocation, your place in the world and your reputation; Moon, your emotions, your instincts and what makes you feel safe.
The Moon upon the Midheaven ties the calling to the public: a visible life, crafts that deal with the people, with everyday needs, or with movement, and a fame that rises and falls with the tides. It heightens the figure of the mother in the public life; the reverse is an unstable reputation.
The Moon at the highest point of the chart makes public life sensitive to fluctuation, like the tides it governs. Hence the classical association with trades that deal with the public, with food, with care and with everything that moves: commerce, transport, assistance. The phase matters: with the Moon waxing, reputation tends to rise over time; waning, the person gains more behind the scenes. In Cancer or Taurus there is firmness; in Capricorn or Scorpio, the course needs more protection.
