Midheaven Square Saturn

Midheaven represents your vocation, your place in the world and your reputation; Saturn, your responsible side, your limits and what you build through effort.

Saturn square the Midheaven checks ambition: obstacles in the career, friction with authority, and the sense of a heavy and blocked path, with the reputation put to the test. It asks patience; what is won, is won with great pains and lasts.

The square places Saturn near the Ascendant or the Descendant. Near the Ascendant, the person carries the career as a personal weight and doubts themselves; near the Descendant, associates, partners or rivals hold back the way. Tradition asks for patience and caution with reputation, especially in a night chart, when Saturn is out of its sect. It is not a closed door: it is a heavy one. Those who persist usually arrive later, but in a position no one can take from them.
