Mercury Trine Midheaven

Mercury represents the way you think, speak and learn; Midheaven, your vocation, your place in the world and your reputation.

Mercury trine the Midheaven lets intelligence flow in the calling: clarity, eloquence, and skill that win a name and success in crafts of the mind. Speech and wit open the way with ease.

The trine places Mercury in the Second or the Sixth House. In the Second, intelligence earns money: trade, accounts, consulting; in the Sixth, it organises work, processes and the details others neglect. These are the earth houses of the Midheaven, so reputation is born of competence that can be checked. A quick Mercury, ahead of the Sun, gives agility; a slow one, deliberation. It shows in the person who gets asked to bring order to a muddled matter.
