This piece marks the beginning of what I want to be a long walk with the stars: a weekly report on the astrological tendencies, like reading the weather of the days ahead.
And this will be our signature — Caminhar com as estrelas, walking with the stars.
Everything has its time, its moment of attention and its window of manifestation.
These are ideas that take shape in the imagination, channelled by the hand that scribbles on paper and brought into the open by the luminous rays of manifestation.
In what other way, if not through imagination, creativity and personal will, would we feel the fire that burns within?
This week marks something special, something that contrasts what lies in the shadows with what needs to be revealed. It shows us a play of contrasts, of duality, and of what must be polarised or forgotten.
For the Egyptians and the Hellenistic astrologers, traditionally, the new solar year begins with the Sun's ingress into Cancer, under the model of the Thema Mundi. The last decan of Gemini is the close of this cycle — and summer begins.
One cycle ends and another begins, in the Egyptian conception of time. The heavens decree that the days start to lose strength and the nights grow in their favour — in search of the perfect balance.
The week we are in reveals the idea of a final justice: what must be carried out, cut away, left behind, and what must be nurtured, cherished and revealed to the world.
Forked images hold power here; they signal a decision to be made — irreversible and very carefully weighed. A sense of climax and anxiety rises, in a moment when every distraction must be avoided so that the sword's cut is made with precision — the definitive cut, and the embrace of the choice made.
Just as the plant or the tree is pruned to reach a certain form and growth, so too do we grow in the direction we have chosen.
It is a week of personal sacrifice, of faith, of hope, of calling upon the gods for a good divine omen — a calling upon the consequences of individual decisions, invoking the energies that give robustness, vigour and substance to what deserves attention.
This week brings us summer, with the Sun's ingress into Cancer; the weather will warm and dilate the bodies that ask for rest, relaxation and other stimuli — a kind of necessary reset for other journeys, whether personal or professional.
Venus and Jupiter draw apart after their recent meeting, still showing a sky of good and gracious omens, though weakening. Mercury, for its part, grows slower, eases off, and with it all the matters it rules also ask for a slowing down within a frantic, intense routine. Soon we will have its retrograde.
I wish you a good entry into this summer of 2026, and may you attain all that you desire!
