Mars in Aquarius
Mars represents your energy, your desire and the courage to act. In Aquarius, it expresses itself in an original, free-spirited way, with eyes on the future.
Mars crosses Aquarius — fixed air, house of Saturn — as a peregrine, with no dignity of his own, governed by the old lord of cold. Here the ardour is tempered by a principle: the force fights not for itself, but for an idea, a cause of the many, a law meant to be unchanging. The fixed air gives stubbornness to the surge — a conviction that does not bend, a rebellion firm as ice that will not melt. It inclines to revolt with method, to the fight for causes broad and not its own, to the blow struck in the name of a whole and not of a profit. It gives a courage of principle, firmness in the defence of friends and allies, a will to break the old order for another. It tends to an obstinate coldness, to strife over theory, to an anger that justifies itself by reason. Like the icy wind that cleaves without flame, it wounds by conviction and not by heat. The danger is that of a force bound to a dogma: an arm taken up for an idea that will not yield.
