Moon in Virgo
Moon represents your emotions, your instincts and what makes you feel safe. In Virgo, it expresses itself with an eye for detail and a practical streak.
The Moon in Virgo is peregrine, again a guest of Mercury, now in a mutable earth sign. The moist luminary settles upon dry and laborious earth, and hence a discerning feeling, attentive to detail, that examines before giving itself. It inclines to a reserved, useful temper, given to small work, to order and to health — affections shown in service rendered more than in word. The emotions are filtered through judgement, and so there is prudence, modesty and some distrust of excess. It gives diligent hands, a taste for remedies, herbs and diets, and a talent for correcting and perfecting. The mother, in a nocturnal chart, appears hardworking, scrupulous, perhaps anxious. As the Moon rules the fluids and the belly, it tends to complaints of the intestines and to the worry that sickens. The profit lies in method and in discreet devotion; the danger is the criticism that measures everything and is never content.
