Moon in Scorpio
Moon represents your emotions, your instincts and what makes you feel safe. In Scorpio, it expresses itself with intensity and depth, all or nothing.
The Moon falls in Scorpio — a fixed water sign, ruled by Mars — and this is the place of its fall, where it is found cast down and out of its worth. Though water is kindred to it, the martial lord and the fixity of the sign bind and embitter its fluid nature: feeling deepens to the dark bottom and there is held. It inclines to an intense, distrustful temper, of strong passions and long resentments, that neither forget nor let go. The emotions ferment in secret, like still water in a deep well, and hence jealousy, desire and fear mingled together. It gives penetration, hidden courage and an attraction to the forbidden and to the goods of others. The mother, in a nocturnal chart, appears strong but difficult, marked by losses or crises. As the Moon moves the fluids, the generative parts and the purgings ask for care. There is power in feeling; but the fall brings torment, obsession and the difficulty of letting go.
