Mars in Pisces

Mars represents your energy, your desire and the courage to act. In Pisces, it expresses itself with imagination, compassion and a dreamy side.

Mars plunges into Pisces — mutable water, house of Jupiter — as a peregrine, with no home of his own, under the lordship of the greater benefic. Here the fire dilutes itself in deep water, and the force loses its outline: the blow is dealt in the mist, the will comes and goes with the current, the fight is waged out of compassion or out of deceit. Jupiter softens the surge and turns it outward — Mars then serves another's suffering, arms himself out of pity, does battle for those who cannot. It inclines to a dreaming passion, to a courage spent in devotion or in flight, to an ardour that now gives itself wholly and now evaporates. It gives a sacrificial zeal, strength to serve in secret, a valour moved by faith. It tends to inconstancy of will, to the impulse that drowns in grief, to the anger that turns against itself. The danger is that of a force without a rudder: a tide that as readily saves as it drags down to the depths.
