Venus in Pisces
Venus represents what you love, what gives you pleasure and the things you value. In Pisces, it expresses itself with imagination, compassion and a dreamy side.
Venus is here exalted, in Pisces — mutable water ruled by Jupiter — raised above its own strength. In sweet and gentle water, under the greater benefic, the moist and fecundating star finds its highest charm. It inclines to a tender, compassionate and measureless love, that gives itself entire and forgives at once; the desire of union dissolves into devotion, and loves more by gift than by interest. It gives immense sweetness, sensitivity to beauty, to music and to the sacred, and a taste for gentle pleasures and for tenderness. The concord here harmonises by compassion and surrender, sweetens all it touches, and unites by pity. It tends to a gentle and dreamy beauty, of moist gaze. The danger of its own exaltation is the excess of gentleness: the love that sacrifices itself without limit, the surrender to one who does not deserve it, the pleasure that drowns in feeling. But few positions love with such grace.
