Sun in House 6

Sun represents who you truly are deep down, your willpower and what gives you energy. House 6 is the house of the small daily work and the health of the body: your tasks, your routines, those who work for you and the little ailments. It asks for care — it's where the body shows its signs and where you serve, day by day.

In the sixth house — of small labour, of subordinates, of illnesses and of small animals — the Sun falls into one of the evil houses, cadent and averse, which does not behold the ascendant and withdraws from the luminary much of its brilliance. A place of servitude and fatigue, the joy of Mars, where one deals with the daily toil and with the weakness of the body. The kingly star determined to this matter turns its light toward service and health: it inclines to exercise authority over those who labour below, to be employed in the craft and in the care of ailments, to occupy itself with small and necessary things. It gives a capacity for command over servants and some usefulness in healing. But it is a position that confines the kingly luminary to a humble sphere, where its heat barely shows — and the manner in which it bears itself here follows the condition it brings from the sign.
