Saturn in House 6

Saturn represents your responsible side, your limits and what you build through effort. House 6 is the house of the small daily work and the health of the body: your tasks, your routines, those who work for you and the little ailments. It asks for care — it's where the body shows its signs and where you serve, day by day.

In the sixth house — of small labour, routines, subordinates, and bodily illness —, Saturn expresses itself weakened (cadent) and in an averse house that does not behold the Ascendant. As the malefic tied to lingering illness, it inclines toward chronic, cold, and dry ailments — of the bones, the skin, the joints — and toward ills that drag on rather than burn. In labour it gives an immense capacity for patient, methodical, and thankless work, and serious but tense relations with those who serve or are served. Well set in its sign, it makes a tireless worker of a fibre that holds up into old age; ill-disposed, it worsens illness that will not loose its grip, the surfeit of burden, and servitude that weighs without recognition.
