Jupiter in House 9
Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 9 is the house of wide horizons: long journeys, higher learning, faith and philosophy. It's the search for meaning and for a truth greater than the everyday.
In the ninth house — of long journeys, of faith, of high study, and of the sacred — Jupiter is determined to religion and to wisdom, which are the very heart of what he signifies, and seldom is he so in his own matter. A cadent house, of lesser force; but a good house and the joy of the Sun, and the proper dwelling of the things of Jupiter. It inclines to a firm and enlightened faith, to the study of divine and human law, to the long journeys that broaden the understanding, to dealings with sages and priests. It gives honour in religion and in letters, the dignity of master or of judge, fortunate pilgrimages, visions and dreams of good augury. It signifies the devout and learned man, the counsellor in high things. It is here that the wisdom and the justice of the star find their own subject. But the house is cadent, and the force arrives less firm: how much is fulfilled depends on the state of the star.
