Sun in House 9
Sun represents who you truly are deep down, your willpower and what gives you energy. House 9 is the house of wide horizons: long journeys, higher learning, faith and philosophy. It's the search for meaning and for a truth greater than the everyday.
In the ninth house — of long journeys, of faith, of high study and of sacred things — the Sun enters the house of its joy, and though it be a cadent house, of lesser strength for falling from the angle, here the luminary is contented as in no other. It is the dwelling of religion and of what raises the understanding on high, ground kindred to the luminous and noble nature of the star of day. The kingly Sun determined to this place casts its light over faith, wisdom and the long road: it inclines to an authority in what touches the sacred and the greater knowing, to travel far, to be a guide or master in things of the spirit. It gives devotion, uprightness of judgement, a love of high truth. By rejoicing here, the luminary acts in particular concord with itself — and the measure of that good follows the condition it brings from the sign.
