Sun represents who you truly are deep down, your willpower and what gives you energy. House 7 is the house of the other: marriage, partnerships and agreements — and your openly declared rivals too. It's the mirror in which you meet whoever stands before you.
In the seventh house — of marriage, of partnerships, of the other and of declared enemies — the Sun takes an angle, a place of strength, the point of the west where the star sets. The angular house gives full vigour to the luminary, though it be a house of ambiguous nature, for it brings both the spouse and the partner and the open adversary. The kingly star determined to unions casts its light over the one held before him: it inclines to seek dignity through alliance, to join with persons of note, to be a figure of weight in the partner’s life. It gives strong presence in dealings and in suits, and adversaries worthy of one who shines. In the angle of the setting the Sun declines but does not lose strength — and the manner in which it is exercised here follows the condition it brings from the sign.
