The seventh house rules marriage, partnerships, and dealings with the other, and also declared enemies. The Sun, in an angle, expresses itself in full and lights up the spouse and partners. It inclines toward a marriage with a person of standing, dignity, or authority, and toward partnerships with people of name; yet, being in the house opposite the first (life), the Sun may here signify a spouse or partner who outshines and dominates the native, or powerful and high-placed declared enemies. Dignified in its sign, it gives a noble mate and honourable, profitable partnerships; afflicted, it brings disputes with figures of authority, a marriage in which the other takes the lead, or open adversaries hard to overcome for being of rank.
