The seven planets

In the last lesson the chart was a photograph. Now we meet the things photographed.

Seven bodies carry the tradition: the two lights — the Sun and the Moon — and the five planets a person can see with their own eyes: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. These are the actors. Everything else in a chart describes how and where they act.

That is worth stating as a formula, because it holds for the whole degree and you will use it in Lesson 9:
