Jupiter in House 1
Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 1 is the house of your own life: the body, your general health, your temperament and the way you present yourself and set things in motion. It's the starting point for everything in the chart — where "you" stand.
In the first house — of life, of the body, and of the native himself — Jupiter finds an angle, the strongest of places, where all that he has is made visible in the person and acts in full. Here the greater benefic stamps himself on the temperament and the figure: he tends to give a well-made body of good stature, an open countenance, an air of benevolent authority that inclines others to trust. He signifies the man liberal and just by nature, given to faith and to good, who carries his fortune with him wherever he goes. From the angular house, his force is not parcelled out: it bears directly on life and health, and protects the liver and the blood, which belong to him. It inclines to an optimistic disposition, to easy honour, to the favour of good people. How much of the blessing in fact reaches the person, and in what measure, depends on the state in which the star is found.
