Jupiter in House 9
Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 9 is the house of wide horizons: long journeys, higher learning, faith and philosophy. It's the search for meaning and for a truth greater than the everyday.
The ninth house — of long journeys, faith, religion, philosophy, and higher learning — is the most proper domain of Jupiter, natural lord of wisdom, law, and religion; though cadent, here the greater benefic is as in its own dwelling and expresses itself with full dignity, one of those positions that sustain a whole chart. It inclines toward a deep and enlightened faith, a just, wise, and knowledge-loving spirit, and honours won in religion, law, teaching, or philosophy; long journeys tend to be fortunate, profitable, and opening of horizons, and foreign lands to smile upon the native. Strong in its sign, it makes a master, sage, or man of faith who is respected, favoured in distant lands and heeded by his own; impeded, it sours into dogmatism, presumption of knowledge, or a faith that strays into fanaticism.
