Jupiter in House 5

Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 5 is the house of pleasure and creation: children, love affairs, games, art and everything you do for the sheer joy of it. It's where life is celebrated and something new is brought into being.

In the fifth house — of children, of pleasures, of play, and of all creation — Jupiter is determined to offspring and to joy, and few places are so friendly to him. A succedent house, of middling force, but a good house and the joy of Venus. It inclines to children many and prosperous, to happy births, to contentment with one's progeny; it gives a taste for honest pleasures, for the table, for the feast, for liberal love. It signifies fortune in what is begotten and created, be it child, be it work, be it the profit of a well-measured boldness. Faith here is glad and grateful, generosity spontaneous, fellowship broad. Jupiter blesses banquets and births, and gives luck to whoever risks with judgement. It is the house of the fruit and of the enjoyment of the fruit. Whether the offspring is plentiful and the pleasures bring good or excess depends on the state in which the star is found.
