Saturn in House 6

Saturn represents your responsible side, your limits and what you build through effort. House 6 is the house of the small daily work and the health of the body: your tasks, your routines, those who work for you and the little ailments. It asks for care — it's where the body shows its signs and where you serve, day by day.

In the sixth house — of small labour, of routines, of subordinates, and of the body's illnesses — Saturn expresses himself weakened, being cadent, and in an averse house that does not behold the Ascendant. It is, even so, a ground with affinity to his nature: lord of the lingering, cold, and dry sicknesses, Saturn here inclines to ills that drag on more than they burn — of the bones, the joints, the skin, of what stiffens and dries with time. In labour, he gives an enormous capacity for patient, methodical, thankless work, and a serious, at times tense, dealing with whoever serves or is served. It is the house where the body's health is measured day by day and the discipline of the routines that sustain or wear it out. As an averse and ill-omened house, it yields little outwardly: the profit that comes from it is that of a quietly built endurance, not of recognition.
