In the eleventh house — of friends, of supports, of hope, and of benefits — Saturn expresses himself at half force, being succedent, and cools the circle of friendships. Determined to this domain, he inclines to friends few but faithful, serious and often older, and to alliances made of proven loyalty and of duty more than of warmth; trust is slow to be given, but, once given, it lasts. He favours the supports won by merit and by persistence, and the sober, measured hopes that ask of the future no more than effort promises. He may bring benefits that are slow or that come by way of weighty and aged persons. Saturn here teaches one to wait with patience and to choose few and firm: what is built in this field is built slowly, but it settles on secure ground.
