Venus represents what you love, what gives you pleasure and the things you value. House 4 is the house of your roots: home, family, what you inherit and your parents (in the old tradition, the father above all). It's your innermost foundation, and also where everything ends — the harbour you come back to.
In the fourth house — of home, parents, roots, immovable goods, and the end of life —, Venus meets an angle, where it acts in full, and sweetens the very foundation of existence. It inclines toward a beautiful, welcoming, and harmonious home, an affectionate family life and domestic peace, and a taste for adorning the house and the land; it favours the holding of pleasant immovable goods and profit coming from the mother or from property, and promises a serene, comfortable, and affection-surrounded end of life. Dignified in its sign, it gives happy roots and a sweet old age; afflicted, it sows discord in the home, loses goods through pleasure or neglect, or makes comfort a thing sought to excess.
