Mercury in Scorpio

In Scorpio — fixed water, ruled by Mars — Mercury is peregrine, without dignity, and from the martial house of water takes a gloomy and penetrating depth. The mind is sharp, distrustful, given to probing what is hidden and not content with the surface of things.
