Venus in Libra
Venus represents what you love, what gives you pleasure and the things you value. In Libra, it expresses itself seeking balance and common ground with others.
Venus rules Libra — cardinal air — and is here in its own house, in its second domicile, in full dignity. It is its airy dwelling, where the star of concord acts by balance, by measure and by dealing with the other. It inclines to a courteous and relational love, that exists always in a pair and seeks the just harmony between the parts; the desire of union becomes a vocation of alliance, partnership and pact. It gives a fine sense of beauty, a taste for art, for elegance and for polished manners, and a talent for reconciling and pleasing. The concord here harmonises by diplomacy, sweetens by courtesy, and builds bonds by mutual agreement. It tends to a graceful and well-proportioned beauty, of natural elegance. The danger is that of its own dominion carried too far: the indecision of one who weighs without end, the appeasement that yields too much so as not to displease, the vanity of appearances. But there is true grace, and an art of uniting.
