Moon represents your emotions, your instincts and what makes you feel safe. It's your innermost foundation, and also where everything ends — the harbour you come back to.
In the fourth house — of home, parents, roots, immovable goods, and the end of life —, the Moon meets an angle, where it acts in full, and is by nature the significator of the mother, above all in a nocturnal chart; few places suit it so deeply, for it ties the luminary of the home to the home itself. It inclines toward a strong attachment to family and to the land, an affectionate domestic life subject to change, and a deep bond with the mother and with one’s roots; several changes of house or dwelling are likely over a lifetime. Dignified in its sign, it gives a present and beloved mother, a warm home, and a serene end of life surrounded by one’s own; afflicted, it brings instability in the home, forced moves, and griefs tied to the mother and the family.
