Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 4 is the house of your roots: home, family, what you inherit and your parents (in the old tradition, the father above all). It's your innermost foundation, and also where everything ends — the harbour you come back to.
In the fourth house — of home, of parents, of roots, of real estate, and of the end of life — Jupiter finds an angle, and his force is full though the house be counted among the grave ones. Here the greater benefic settles upon the foundation of all things: he inclines to a prosperous home, to honoured and worthy parents, to inheritance and lands, to a patrimony that gives root. It gives an end of life serene and supported, an old age with goods and with faith, an honoured grave. It signifies the liberal and just father, the faith of one's origins, the blessing that comes from the soil and the old blood. From the angular house, his virtue is not parcelled out: it is cast upon all that is hidden and deep, upon what is inherited and what is left behind. It is the broad base upon which life rests. How it ends, and how much of the inheritance is kept, remains open to the state of the star.
