Jupiter in House 8
Jupiter represents the part of you that trusts, grows and seeks meaning. House 8 is the house of what you share and what comes from outside: inheritances, other people's resources, debts, and the major upheavals and losses. It's a deep and demanding place, of fears and of transformation.
In the eighth house — of death, of fear, and of the goods of others — Jupiter is determined to the end and to what comes by another's hand. A succedent but averse house, of the bad ones, which does not behold the angle nor rejoice. Here the greater benefic alights upon heavy things: it inclines, nonetheless, to a gentle death without torment, to an end in peace and with faith, and it blesses what comes by inheritance, by dowry, by the legacy of the dead. It gives profit from the goods of others, luck in inheritances and in the things of the spouse, relief from fears and support amid debts. It signifies the religious hope in the face of death, the wisdom that accepts the end, the justice in the dividing of what the dead leave behind. But the house is among the afflicted and sucks the light of the star: what in another place would be largesse, here comes by way of loss. How much of the inheritance is enjoyed, and whether death is mild, remains open.
