In the second house — of movable goods, gain, and what one accumulates —, the Moon expresses itself at half strength (succedent) and brings to fortune its ebb and flow. It inclines toward finances that rise and fall like tides, toward gains coming from the public, the commerce of common things, liquids, dealing with the people, or trades of movement, and toward a relation to money made of ups and downs; resources come and go with ease, more by circulation than by hoarding. Dignified in its sign, it gives a nose for providing for common needs and profit among the multitude; afflicted, it brings instability, losses, and an endless restlessness over one’s livelihood.
